Tigger Movie.

The Tigger movie is to be released by Disney on 14th April. I haven't seen the preview myself but I beleive the film is about Tigger trying to find his family. A clue to the probable ending is the latest Disney Pooh Beanies all wearing Tigger suits. Do Tiggers friends dress up to pretend they are his family ? All will be revealed soon. Pooh Sticks Bridge is Saved.

Pooh Sticks Bridge has been dismantled to enable a replacement structure to be built. Work has started on the rebuild and is hoped to be finished by the end of November. The bridge in Hartfield, East Sussex was built in 1907 and was immortalised by AA Milne in the "Winnie the Pooh" story books as the place the game Pooh Sticks was invented. The bridge had been partially rebuilt in 1979, but with its world wide popularity the increase in visitors and natural elements led to a deterioration in its condition which was beyond economic repair. The cost to design and rebuild the new bridge is believed to be in the region of £30,000, and is being covered by members of the construction industry, the Walt Disney Company and individual members of the public. The Walt Disney Company has announced it will be making a substantial contribution to the costs involved, but fears the bridge would be turned into theme park style attraction have been quashed.
